Author’s description:
"This artwork came into beeing from the melancholy awakened by my recent memories of some walks across the secular forests of Transylvania. The attraction for these lands is becoming stronger and stronger and I see in it a kind of call of my ancestors who were Transylvanian.
Although I was born and grown up in a select residential district of Bucharest, from the stories of my great- grandmother whom I loved very much, I understood that my roots are in the "country beyond the forests", in Transylvania.
Autumn romance... in color and images. A forest glade on top of the hill, bathed in the last rays of light of a setting sun. A lonely silhouette looking at the spectacle of nature... A common image, the hypostasis of a thoughtful and romantic Ego, who loves nature and seeks refuge where tranquility and harmony bring you in agreement with the frequency of vibration of the earth.
Surrounded by the spirits of the trees preparing for rest, the heart beats in a certain way. Next to the wise giants who seem to support the sky on their wooden arms, you feel unimportant and grateful. We owe them the quality of the air we breathe and the rains that make the ground bear fruit. And then, my thought flies to the words of Chopin's girlfriend, George Sand, who defined the autumn as a melancholic andante that precedes the solemn adagio of the winter that will come. "
