Kiss Underneath the Milky Twilight
The most common subjects of the works of Amalia are The Lovers: usually a couple of a redhead and a gentleman with long, curly hair. The girl has got a blue dress, which is common in the women she represents. Amalia wore a blue dress on her 18th birthday, the same dress that appears in her portrait "Make a wish".
The man that kisses the girl, seems like he is going on a trip, and he's holding in his arms his beloved. The atmosphere is magical, behind them there is a lake that crosses the whole landscape. We can see some fireflies floating around them, that's what makes us understand that we're in summer.
